To all my friends and followers who support the Latin Mass and Catholic Tradition: good news at last for Portugal.
The FSSPX is constructing has been given the go-ahead to construct a larger church in Lisbon as the little chapel currently in use in their priory has been terribly cramped. Hurray for this news!
Portugal has always been a land consecrated to Mary: the new church will be called Our Lady Queen of Portugal Church.
The Society has decided to proceed with a massive project to reconstruct a large historic stone warehouse into a church, but, as you can expect, the cost of turning this into something suitable for the august sacrifice of the Mass has landed them with an ulcer-inducing bill.
The FSSPX congregation is growing here in Portugal, and during this time of crisis of faith in the world, this is a pressing need for countless souls. Granting Our Lady this new church in her honor will only be made possible through generous support.
Our
Lady promised Sr. Lucia of Fatima that Portugal would never lose the Faith -- supporting
projects like this literally helps make her prophecy come to pass. You
can be a part of it!
And so, I humbly come with my begging bowl on their behalf: if you have anything to spare for this endeavor, please be a patron, the priests of the FSSPX in Portugal would be eternally grateful! And of course, so will Our Lady of Fatima, Queen of Portugal!
Here is a video of the current state of the reconstruction project:
